- Sodium Monochloroacetate is the sodium salt of monochloroacetic acid, and its chemical formula is C₂H₂ClNaO₂. It is a white crystalline powder or granular substance that is highly soluble in water. Sodium monochloroacetate is derived from the chlorination of acetic acid, followed by neutralization with sodium hydroxide.
- It may be toxic ingestion or inhalation. It is used to make weed killers, dyes and pharmaceuticals.

- CMC (Carboxy Methyl Cellulose): Used in manufacturing of CMC which has varied application in fields of Paper, Textile, Mining, Food, Detergent, Pharmaceutical, Paint ,etc.
- Amphoteric Surfactants: Used in Manufacturing of Cocoamido Propyl Betaines (CAPB)
- Intermediary: Used as an intermediary in manufacturing of various Indigo Dyes, Dimethoate and Synthetic Caffeine.
